Companies are investing huge amounts of time, money, and resources to try to prevent data leakage on their environment.The main objective in deploying a sound DLP is to have a sound strategy to identifying data assets, classifying the information, and have an action plan. However as important as the strategy is, the reality could be a different story. Realizing that it the amount of time and efforts involved in the upfront "ground work" and having clear expectations are the key components to a successful deployment of any DLP solution.
