April 1, 2014 - Specialist investment management consultancy Investit is pleased to announce that Martin Gloyne and Jerry Slason have joined the firm to help further develop services in the areas of operations strategy and outsourcing, oversight and data governance.

Investit is a consultancy focused on increasing the efficiency and profitability of investment management firms, working across the firm from Operations and IT to Marketing and Sales.

Martin joins as a Principal with over 20 years in the investment management industry, 13 of which have been in senior operations roles at Aviva Investors. Martin has extensive knowledge of middle and back office operations. Having experienced mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing and globalisation projects first hand, Martin has practical experience in designing, implementing and running operating models that support asset managers as they develop their businesses. More recently Martin has been designing and implementing governance processes that meet the requirements of AIFMD.

Jerry joins as a Consultant specialising in data management and the front office, systems and operations. With over 15 years of industry experience, Jerry has held a variety of roles in financial services. Prior to joining Investit, Jerry worked as a Senior Consultant and Research Analyst for Cutter Associates. Consulting engagements included system search and selections, project management and business analysis. Jerry has previously been a lead implementation specialist for DSTi's Trading and Data Warehouse products.
