May 15, 2013 - Triple Point Technology, the leading global provider of on-premise and in-cloud Commodity Management software, announced today that it has been named "ETRM Software House of the Year" by Energy Risk magazine.

This prestigious award is a result of Triple Point's revenue, profit, and customer growth in 2012 as well as its unique ability to deliver innovative, next generation commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) solutions including mobile applications.

In 2012 Triple Point grew its revenue by 30% and its profit by 40%. The company also added 28 new energy companies to its base of 400+ customers in 2012 including Spanish power generator Iberdrola Generation, Korean-based oil refiner and marketer SK Energy, Brazil energy giant Petrobras, and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Limited.

"Triple Point's success has been fueled by its unwavering commitment to provide the most comprehensive and sophisticated solutions for managing an end-to-end commodity value chain," said Peter F. Armstrong, CEO, Triple Point. "It's an honor to be continually recognized by the world's leading press and analyst organizations for delivering the highest return on investment for commodity and energy companies."

The "ETRM Software House of the Year" award follows on the heels of analyst firm IDC naming Triple Point a Leader in its 2013 IDC Marketscape: Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Vendor Assessment. Triple Point has also been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for ETRM Platforms for four consecutive years. In addition, in 2012 Energy Risk named Triple Point "Software House of the Year – Asia."
