November 12, 2014 - Mocapay, a merchant-centric, mobile marketing and payments solution provider, and Merchant Link, a leading provider of payment gateway and data security solutions, today announced the formation of a business alliance that will empower merchants seeking innovative mobile payment and payment security offerings.
As a result of today's announcement, Merchant Link will leverage Mocapay's patented mobile payment and marketing technology to expand its product suite with value added solutions.
"We're thrilled to team up with an industry innovator like Merchant Link," said Doug Dwyre, CEO, Mocapay. "This relationship will give Merchant Link an entirely new product set to offer its existing client base while expanding Mocapay's reach in hospitality. Additionally, Mocapay's patented, tokenized mobile transaction processing technology will ensure payment and transaction security enhancing the existing Merchant Link product security suite."
This unique alliance will expand Merchant Link's product offering allowing it the ability to include mobile payments and marketing solutions to its client base. By taking advantage of Mocapay's solutions, Merchant Link merchants will have the ability to offer mobile customer acquisition while engaging and measuring guest interaction within the mobile environment.
"The collaboration with Mocapay is just another way Merchant Link continues to seek relationships that offer our clients more information and more data, enhancing their opportunity for great customer retention and revenue generation," said Laura Meck, EVP, Merchant Link.
With the agreement, Merchant Link merchants will be able to accept mobile transactions and allow customers to interact with the merchant brand from any mobile device. Consumers can interact via the merchants' branded mobile app allowing them to make credit card purchases, purchase and redeem gift cards, participate in loyalty programs and take advantage of merchant promotions.
Merchants will also have access to key customer communication mobile marketing tools. Data collected from mobile interactions will enable merchants to better customize two-way conversations with customers including coupons, deals and brand loyalty engagements.
