September 16, 2014 - CME Group has revamped its leadership structure, naming company veteran Kim Taylor president of global operations, technology and risk.
Taylor has been at the exchange operator since 1989, acting as president of CME Clearing since 2007. In her expanded role, reporting to CEO Phupinder Gill, she will lead clearing, operations, technology and platform development, charged with bringing new products and services to market.
Sunil Cutinho replaces Taylor as CME Clearing president, reporting to his predecessor. Julie Holzrichter becomes COO and Kevin Kometer remains as CIO, both reporting to Taylor.
In July CME Group beefed up its tech business by striking a deal to buy the Trayport and Fenics units from GFI Group in a deal worth around $655 million.
Meanwhile, former COO Bryan Durkin takes on the new position of chief commercial officer. Derek Sammann becomes senior managing director, commodity and options products, Sean Tully, senior managing director, financial and OTC products, and Robert Zagotta, senior managing director, strategy and execution.
