A global quantitative survey conducted by EY identified that risk investment levels were closely linked to financial performance. The study showed that companies in the top 20% of risk maturity generate three times the level of Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) as those in the bottom 20%.
