Speaker BIO's

Tom ArnoldTom Arnold is a Principal and co-founder of PSC and directs PCI compliance assessments and security standards examinations. Tom specializes in analyzing and guiding the design, development and deployment of secure payment systems for high-risk enterprises, including credit card payment, cash management, global payment, merchandizing, and counter crime systems.

Having published several white papers, designed and consulted to some of the most successful electronic businesses, and provided policy guidance to the United States Government, Tom has an extensive background in Internet eBusiness systems and electronic commerce. Tom also has a repertoire of credentials that make him an expert security and compliance consultant.

Formerly the VP of Product Development and Chief Software Architect for the Merchant Services Division of Infospace, Inc. Products include: Internet and IP/card-present payment gateway, loyalty earn and rewards systems, private-label hosting, Internet Yellow Pages, and wireless retail interaction system. Prior to joining Infospace, Inc. Tom was the Chief Technical Officer for CyberSource Corporation. As CTO, he designed and deployed the full suite of Internet Commerce Services for CyberSource.

Tom has a strong background in software engineering and the development of systems technology within both the public and private sectors. Preceding his CTO position at CyberSource Corp., Tom managed application development at Silicon Graphics, Inc. where he developed the next generation of electronic sales, software distribution and software licensing systems. Prior to Silicon Graphic, Inc., Tom lead a software development team at NASA Ames Research Center, responsible for building on-line transaction processing and database systems.

Torsten GeorgeTorsten George is vice president worldwide marketing, Agiliance Inc. He brings more than 16 years of global experience in promoting software (e.g., enterprise applications, security software, and SaaS solutions) and network equipment products to Agiliance. Prior to joining Agiliance, Torsten was vice president of worldwide marketing at ActivIdentity, where he redefined the company's product and go-to-market strategy and repositioned the company as the leader in the strong authentication and credential management space.

Before ActivIdentity, Torsten served nearly six years as chief marketing officer for Digital Link, a leading network communications equipment vendor. He holds a doctorate in Economics, a master of business administration degree in Marketing and Business Strategy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Law.
