colin whittakerColin Whittaker, PCI Industry Alumni, Founder and Director Informed Risk Decisions Ltd. Colin has been instrumental in driving forward a risk and security strategy for payments over the last 15 years since he retired from the military in 2001, and took up the role of Head of Security at APACS. Whilst there he was one of the first people to be elected to the PCI SSC Board of Advisors where he was always keen to try and promote the differences in threat between Europe and UK, and the US. He was also responsible for coordinating Visa Europe's approach to cardholder data breaches in Europe, and for the changes to the Visa Europe Compliance strategy through the creation of the Technology Innovation Programme which gave the very first PCI DSS compliance relief for EMV chip accepting merchants. In 2015 he went independent and currently provides cyber security risk consultancy services to a wide range of public and private companies. Colin has presented on Information Security at major events around the world, and has published a number of papers on security.

paul headshotChris McClean is the Global Lead for Digital Ethics at Avanade, where he oversees the company’s AI Governance team and leads the implementation of Responsible AI policies. He also heads Avanade’s Responsible AI and Digital Ethics advisory practice, delivering training and workshops, conducting system and program assessments, and guiding the design of responsible technology programs. In addition, Chris serves as one of Avanade's Citizenship Champions. Before joining Avanade, Chris led Forrester’s coverage of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) for 12 years, playing a key role in shaping the market’s development. During that time, he advised corporate executives on improving corporate responsibility, enterprise risk management, compliance, third-party risk management, information security, and privacy programs. He also served as a trusted advisor to numerous product and service provider executives and contributed to hundreds of research reports, webinars, conference presentations, and media interviews. Chris began his career in technology marketing and public relations.

Through his several-decades-long career, Peter has worked through most IT-related areas from development, technology architecture, and driving change as a CIO. He has always been excited about how technology-enabled business change can transform organizations.

 

PMPat McParland is AVP of Product Marketing at MetricStream. She is responsible for creating product messaging, product go-to-market plans, and analyzing market trends for MetricStream's cyber compliance and third party risk product lines. Pat has more than 25 years of financial data and technology marketing experience at Fortune 1000 brands as well as startups and has led product and marketing teams at Dow Jones and Dun & Bradstreet. She has a BA from the College of William and Mary and lives in Summit, New Jersey. 

PMChase Lee currently serves as VP of Product at Vanta, the hypergrowth security and compliance management platform. Vanta acquired Trustpage in January 2023 where Chase was Founder & CEO. Prior to starting Trustpage in 2020, Chase was the VP of Innovation at West, which he joined via its acquisition of Ambassador in 2018 where Chase was Co-founder and CTO. Ambassador was a member of the 2011 Techstars NYC class and held its place on the Inc. 500 fastest-growing companies in America. While there Chase was awarded “Twenty in their 20s” by Crain’s Detroit Business and named Detroit’s Brightest under 30 by TechWeek. Prior to Ambassador, he co-founded and served as the CTO of Fetchnotes, a member of the Techarb student accelerator in Ann Arbor and Techstars Boston. Chase is an alumnus of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, was the U of M Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011, and held several positions in research and web administration at the university before moving into startups. As a self-taught developer at a young age, his first programs were written and distributed on floppy disks shortly after the first dot-com bubble burst.
