March 28, 2014 - A new MobileIron study conducted by Ponemon Institute shows that mobility has introduced disruptive business and employee demands that are causing CIOs to shift to a new model of enterprise IT. The study, called "The Changing Mobile Landscape in Financial Services," was released today and surveyed over 400 IT professionals in the financial services industry about the future of BlackBerry, mobile apps, BYOD, mobile strategy, and the new IT capabilities required to succeed with enterprise mobility.

Nafcu chief economist and director of research David Carrier says the average cost for the Target data breach among members was $45,000.

March 18, 2014 - According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Europe, Middle East and Africa Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker, 4Q14 vendor revenue for the EMEA security appliance market reached $688.5 million, a 0.4% decrease over the same quarter a year ago. Shipments declined by 8.7% year on year with 185,019 units shipped. For 2013, the security appliance market vendor revenue totalled about $2.5 billion, representing a 2.4% increase over 2012.
